Battersea Power Station

So the new owners of Battersea have finally said that redevelopment of the grade II listed site will commence in 2013. The development of the colossal site is set to include homes, shops, arts space and offices. As the building is listed the art deco structure cannot be altered, the four white chimneys will however be dismantled and replaced with exact replicas, presumable due to safety of their structures.
I find the project a very exciting one. The building has been empty for thirty years and with such huge potential it can be nothing but a good thing for redevelopment to start!
